Finlayson is one of the oldest textile companies in Finland. The factory was founded in 1823 in Tampere, by the Tammerkoski stream. The factory is not in its original use anymore, but luckily the old factory area has a new life full of galleries, shops, restaurants and a big movie theatre complex. The factory outlet of Finlayson can be found from the area too. 

Finlayson has designed Tamminiemi collection in tribute to sauna. The products are created using materials that are as authentic and pure as the sauna experience itself.
