Wellcome to the Beginner's Track! Here is some information for your attention:

Your pass includes 4 lessons (2 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday), sauna, Saturday taster and party, and Sunday Tea dance. Please note, your pass does not include meals or accommodation!

The schedule for Beginners' Track:

Saturday:

15-16: Registration

16.30-18.30: Lessons

18.30-19.30: Free time (sauna/dinner/rest )

19.30-20.30: Musicality taster

20.30-       Party (Theme Mermaids and Pirates!)

Sunday:

11.30-13.30: Lessons

13.30-15.30: Free time

15.30-17.30: Tea dance

Beginners' Track lessons start on Saturday at 16.30. Please arrive well in advance (before 16.00) for check in! We will be waiting for you in the Varala main building, where you will get your access wristband and wellcome bag. After that you will be moving to another building where you will have your lessons. Teachers of the beginners' track are Tanja Wingerter and Karri Rasinmäki. 

Please bring dance shoes, a water bottle, enough clothes to change,  and a towel. After the lesson you will have one hour to have sauna and/or to eat, before the musicality taster starts in the main sports hall. You are allowed to consume your own snacks and refreshments by the sauna, but remember, alcoholic drinks are not allowed elsewhere in Varala. In Varalas' own cafe, Cafe Anna they are selling drinks and snacks until 20.00. After that, we will be selling some snacks and soft drinks during the party. Please bring small change, card payments are not possible!

Please notice, that the doors  get locked at 22.00! So there is no entrance to the buildings without a key after that! So please make sure to get in the main building before doors close. If you get locked outside of the building, there will be a phone number by the door that you can call and we will come to open the door.

Your Beginners' track pass does not include Friday party! If you want to join the Friday party as well, you can still buy a ticket at the door, the price is 35 euros, only in cash. Please bring exact change!

We have booked an amazing swing band from Sweden: the Gentlemen & Gangsters, to play for us both on Friday and Saturday! So let's party!
